Do you use original parts?

Yes. Wherever possible we repair with original parts. Depending on the brand, model and availability, we offer several high-quality options for screen repairs: – Original Service Pack – a new original part, supplied by the manufacturer or an authorised supplier. – Original pulled – an original part taken from another device and carefully checked for quality and function. – Premium OLED – a high-quality alternative to the original screen. Premium OLED is not an original manufacturer part, but offers excellent image quality and performance at a more attractive price. Which option is available differs per device. We discuss beforehand which part is used and what it costs, so you know exactly what you are choosing.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Phone Repairs works always by appointment, so there is enough time and attention for your repair. You make an appointment via WhatsApp, by phone or by e-mail.

When are you open?

Accepted Answer

Phone Repairs is open seven days a week, including evenings, Sundays and public holidays. On Sundays and public holidays the Sunday opening hours apply. Because we work by appointment, we arrange a time with you that suits you.

My screen is damaged. Can it be repaired?

We can replace your phone's screen within 30 minutes while you watch, so you don't have to be without your device for long. And you can soon enjoy your phone again, without those annoying cracks in the screen.

My device no longer charges. Can it be repaired?

Accepted Answer

You can often solve this yourself quite easily. Take a wooden toothpick and carefully clean the dirt out of the charging port. You will see a lot of dirt and dust come out. My battery is worn. Can I have it replaced?

Yes, we can replace the worn battery within 30 minutes, so your device lasts longer again and you get through the day with your phone.

My screen is lifting. What is going on?

Accepted Answer

This is often caused by a swollen battery, which is not harmless. Stop charging and using the device as soon as you notice it. Don't wait, because it is a fire and explosion risk. Make an appointment with us as soon as possible to have the battery replaced professionally, without risks such as fire, explosion or the release of toxic gases.

Will I lose my data during a repair?

Accepted Answer

No, the data on your device is kept during a repair at Phone Repairs, so you don't need to worry. Your messages, WhatsApp, photos, games and so on simply stay on your device and you can use it again straight away.

My iPhone suddenly does nothing. What can I do?

Accepted Answer

Do a forced restart (hard reset). Sometimes a software error makes an iPhone seem completely unresponsive. A hard reset forces the logic board to restart without data loss: – iPhone 8 and newer (including iPhones with Face ID): briefly press Volume Up, briefly press Volume Down, then hold the side button until the Apple logo appears. – iPhone 7 (Plus) and older: hold the Volume Down button and the power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears.

My phone has water damage. Can it still be repaired?

Often it can. If your smartphone got wet or damp and has water damage, switch it off right away (if it has not switched itself off already). This prevents further damage. Do not switch it on again and certainly do not charge it. Then call us straight away: 073 822 0013

What does the screen repair warranty cover?

Accepted Answer

If your screen stops working, we replace it free of charge. If your screen has drop, impact, water or visible user damage, it is no longer covered by our warranty. Your screen may also show black spots or lines while the glass is not broken. This too is caused by drop or impact damage and is unfortunately not covered by the warranty terms.

The back of my iPhone is cracked. Is that a problem?

Yes. The back, also called the back cover, holds important sensors that the iPhone needs to work properly. Damage to the back can damage these sensors and cause your iPhone to overheat. The battery can also be damaged, which can cause serious problems and even fire. Stop using the device and make an appointment with us soon to have the back replaced.

Do I get a warranty on the repair?

The warranty period differs per repair. Most repairs and all screen repairs come with a 12-month warranty. Batteries have 12 months and motherboard repairs 60 days. Water damage never comes with a warranty.

What does an iPhone repair cost?

Accepted Answer

The cost of an iPhone repair depends on the type of iPhone and the fault. iPhone repairs start from €60 including fitting and VAT. Repairs are done in 30 minutes while you watch!

Is mijn telefoon nog waterbestendig na een reparatie?

Na een reparatie kunnen wij de waterbestendigheid van je telefoon niet garanderen. Een telefoon is namelijk waterbestendig, maar niet volledig waterdicht. Door barsten in het scherm, deuken in het frame en slijtage van afdichtingen kan deze bescherming afnemen. Bij het vervangen van je telefoon vernieuwen wij indien nodig ook de schermlijm en afdichting. Hiermee sluiten we het toestel zorgvuldig aan op de behuizing. Dit biedt echter geen garantie dat de oorspronkelijke waterbestendigheid wordt hersteld. Daarom geven wij na een reparatie geen garantie op waterdichtheid. Ons advies: houd je telefoon uit de buurt van water en dompel het toestel niet onder, zeker nadat het beschadigd is geweest.

Do you offer a loan device during the repair?

We repair your device so fast that setting up a loan device would take longer. So you don't need a loan device at all. And let's be honest: those 30 minutes without a phone are actually quite nice.

Do prices include VAT and fitting?

Yes. Prices include fitting and 21% VAT.

Can I have parts fitted that I bought myself?

Accepted Answer

No. Repairs are not carried out with parts you bought yourself. Phone Repairs works with its own original parts.

Can I send my device in?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Get in touch first, so we can check that the part is in stock and you know what the repair costs. Then send your device well packed and by registered mail.
